Lohri Festival Essay in English  -Lohri is a famous festival of Punjabi people. It is celebrated in entire India especially in northern India in Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Jammu State. It falls in the month of Paush or Magh according to the Hindu Calendar, which is usually celebrated on the 13th day of January according to the English calendar. It is celebrated on the last day of Paush, after sunset.

In the open space in Lohri, families and neighbors gather together in the open space, and sit beside the fire and make the siege. On this festival, people gather around the bonfire and offer sesame seeds, gazak, good, peanuts, lava etc. in the flames and congratulate each other by singing popular songs. This festival is eaten in the form of Ravi, Peanuts, Lava etc. in the form of Prasad.
